We're pleased to report that we have reached over 70% of our fundraising goal for Year of the Quiet Sun, our upcoming art folio. This set of prints takes the collages of Ludwig Zeller and re-creates them as letterpress objets d’arts.
Many thanks to everyone who has already contributed - this project wouldn't happen without you. Tell your friends & family to visit the Indiegogo site, share the link, and forward this note along to anyone you think might be interested. With the support of more pledges to meet (and exceed!) our fundraising goal at Indiegogo, we'll add luxury and embellishments to the wonderful letterpress prints planned. Together we'll be making letterpress history, with Zeller's art shared out to more people, at the top of his abundant career.

Planned for release in the Fall 2014, these fine art prints will make amazing gifts for discerning art appreciators on your list.
The set of three prints will be presented in a luxurious hand-made folio of acid-free paper, along with a title page and a colophon. Since this is a limited edition production, there will only be 26 copies of the complete folio, 10 of which include Zeller’s original collages.

Someone Editions launches Year of the Quiet Sun
Someone Editions announces the launch of a new art folio, Year of the Quiet Sun. This set of prints takes the collages of Ludwig Zeller and re-creates them as letterpress objets d’arts. We are funding the project through Indiegogo and we invite you to join us in propelling the art of collage into the realm of fine print.
The folio is inspired by Zeller’s collages, which use 19th Century engravings, carefully cut out and combined into new and fantastical arrangements. We will underprint the subtle colours of the paper in the original collages and overprint the strong black outlines on top. The images will be presented alongside excerpts of Zeller’s poetry in both their original Spanish text and in the English translation as provided by A.F. Moritz.
The set of three prints will be presented in a luxurious hand-made folio of acid-free paper, along with a title page and a colophon. The prints can be purchased individually or as the full set of three. Someone Editions announces the launch of a new art folio, Year of the Quiet Sun. This set of prints takes the collages of Ludwig Zeller and re-creates them as letterpress objets d’arts. We are funding the project through Indiegogo and we invite you to join us for a one-night pop-up gallery inaugurating the campaign. The reception will also display a broad selection of Zeller’s original collages, both to feast the eyes and for purchase.

Ludwig Zeller is widely known for his contribution to the art of collage, and for his poetry, both of which reach an influence well beyond the sphere of international surrealism. Someone Editions is the limited-edition printing arm of the Someone.ca design studio. We run a letterpress operation in downtown Toronto.
Created in collaboration with Zeller from his home in Oaxaca, the Year of the Quiet Sun does not only merge the art of letterpress with that of collage, but also extends the accessibility of both mediums transnationally.
