Fans of Hilda Doolittle need no explanation of the sensitivity and care with which she delved into Ancient Greek Literature and mythology; her work is imbued with the sense of it. Hilda, an early feminist, was supported in her work by people like Ezra Pound, was friends with Sigmund Freud. She wrote in a time that was dominated by men, and earned wide respect.
